“We strive for the coexistence of energy and the environment.”
J-Power EnTech, Inc. is a member of the J-POWER (Electric Power Development Co., Ltd.) Group, one of the largest wholesale electric power supply companies in Japan.
The J-POWER Group has been leading the way in the introduction of environmental protection technologies at power stations in Japan. We are carrying out our engineering business based on our operational experience and the environmental preservation equipment technologies we have accumulated over many years, as well as the “dry exhaust gas treatment technology” inherited from the former Mitsui Mining Co., Ltd. (currently Nippon Coke & Engineering Co., Ltd.).
Our core technology, dry exhaust gas treatment technology (ReACT: Regenerative Activated Coke Technology), uses almost no water and collectively treats multiple types of trace contaminants, such as desulfurization, denitration, dust removal, dioxin removal and mercury removal. This technology has been widely adopted in Japan, such as in coal thermal power stations, iron and steel plants, petrochemical plants, and garbage-disposal plants.
In addition, efforts are underway to introduce new international environmental regulations, including those in the United States and other Asian countries, and there are movements to strengthen current environmental regulations. Therefore, application of this technology is expected to solve environmental problems not only in Japan but also overseas.
With this dry exhaust gas treatment technology as a foothold, we will challenge a wide range of engineering projects on the theme of the “Environment” in Japan and overseas, thereby contributing to the society together with J-POWER.
